Optimized learning landscapes for 21st Century Learning Post-secondary learners span a wide range of ages and life experiences and there has been a seismic shift in student demographic, knowledge and economic landscapes. Learners needs, circumstances and preferences are forcing more flexibility into learning spaces. A continuing shift in the shape of post-secondary populations requires deliberate planning for agility in the design of post-secondary institutions; a "nimbleness" enabling a higher level of social and educational engagement in all spaces.
