Location: Crawford Bay, BC

The school is designed to accommodate up to 200 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and replaces the existing school, which was built in various stages beginning in 1946. The community contributed funding in order to enhance the program with a number of facilities such as a weight room, multi-purpose activity rooms, and a child care centre. The design is a response to the local culture, geography and climate. In recognition of the importance of timber in this community, the building is designed as an all-wood structure, using native, local wood species as much as possible.
